About Us

Pavel Horev was born in Leningrad, Russia in 1963; spent most of his childhood and youth in the capital of Moldova- Chisinau, where he graduated from High School and Electromechanical College. He was baptized in 1982 and became a part of the local Baptist church. After 2 years of mandatory military service, he worked as an engineer in electronics. He was very engaged in the work of his church by working with teenagers and youth, preaching in his local church, singing in the choir, and playing in the church orchestra.

In 1995 he graduated from Bible College in Switzerland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible and Missions. In November 1995, he moved to the United States, to continue his studies at the seminary in Kansas City. He earned his Masters Degree in Religious Education in 1998 and was ordained in Rockwood Baptist Church.

In 2000, he began a Bible-study group with a Russian-speaking group of believers in Holmeswood Baptist Church. Subsequently, the group has grown into an independent Russian- speaking International Community Church.

In July of 2000, he has joined his life with a faithful partner Tatyana.

Till this day, Pastor Pavel Horev continues to serve the Lord and God’s people with a humble and submitted heart. International Community Church is experiencing steady hand, healthy growth under his leadership and unfailing love of the Lord.
